“RAK Biggest Weight Loser Challenge” Registration Day
RAS AL KHAIMAH: Continuing its drive towards a fit and healthy UAE, RAK Hospital, in association with the Ministry of Health and Prevention, Ras Al Khaimah, has launched the “RAK Biggest Weight Loser Challenge” in the Emirate. Open to all RAK residents over the age of 18, the 10-week challenge is from Feb. 17 to April 28, with fabulous prizes for winners who will lose the maximum amount of weight.
The campaign was inaugurated by Fatema Saeed Al Shehhi, Head of Health Education, RAK Medical District, Ministry of Health and Prevention, Ras Al Khaimah, in the presence of dignitaries from RAK Hospital.
During the registration day, the doctors at the hospital recorded the participants’ weight, height and BMI and blood pressure. Participants will also be provided with weekly weight-recording sheets. Surgical weight loss will not be allowed.
